Phase I - 20 - 30 bed shelter
The ultimate goal of Leahs House is to construct a 7900+ sq ft home with includes a child care center, space for on-site classrooms to teach college level courses, a commercial kitchen to serve the childcare center, residents (2nd floor with shelter beds completely contained for security purposes) and adminsitrative offices. The above building is designed by J.F. Jochum Architects specifically for Leahs House. Valued at $1,500,000. Current need is $500,000 to $800,000 to complete.
Phase II - currently housing 8-14 beds
Above playground donated by United Way and assembled by their Day of Caring volunteers
Phase III - bringing 8 more bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms in early 2012
The above is 3 stories aprox 4,000 sq feet (has walkout basement) current building budget is ($399,000)
